General Update - January 2020

Update from your Parish Council....

The Parish council has purchased "gateway" signs
showing ‘Welcome to Grendon’ with the speed
limit[s] for all road entrances to the village. These will
be installed shortly. We have also agreed to gift a new
slide to NWBC for use at the Boot Hill play area which
will be installed in February.

A new Parish notice board will be installed near
Woodside School shortly. This will allow residents stay
up to date with important local information.

The new development ‘The Green’ (Phase 2 Penmire
Rise) has now commenced, we are aware of issues
and disturbances with early morning deliveries and
the PC has written to the developer outlining issues
and requesting contact details for the Site Manager to
allow us to address our concerns.

Dordon Hall Lane – The PC are aware of complaints
over the suitability of this lane for commercial
vehicles and has been liaising with WCC Highways to
find a resolution to this issue.

Grendon Flood Action Group have met with the
developers of the Kier development (Grendon Point) to discuss how
the impact that proposed drainage changes will affect
neighbouring properties.  A further multi agency meeting is being arranged for
early 2020 and the group continue to look at the
impact of flooding throughout Grendon.
